The Dragon Boat Race is a great way for companies to build teamwork while supporting a meaningful cause. See below for team info and entry criteria.

TEAM
COMPOSITION

Each team may have up to 17 members, but only 14 paddlers and 1 drummer are allowed on the boat per race, with the remaining members serving as reserves who can be rotated between races as needed, and make sure you give your team a good name—for example, Fighting Dragons – ABC Company.

RACE CATEGORIES

Mixed, Each team must have a minimum of 4 women paddlers on the roster.

ELIGIBILITY

Must be 16 years or older. Wearing of life jacket is mandatory at all times, must sign a waiver and release form, medical clearance required for participants with known condition.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

Attend the 1-hour scheduled practice session together with an official dragon boat coach per team prior to race day.

UNIFORM AND EQUIPMENT

Matching shirts or jersey color per team (optional). ALL EQUIPMENT IS PROVIDED BY THE ORGANIZER, INCLUDING PADDLES AND LIFE JACKETS.

CODE OF CONDUCT

All participants must follow the event's code of conduct. Unsportsmanlike behavior may result in disqualification
